At Cozy Camp Life, we stand behind our premium camping gear just like we stand behind our tents in a storm. While we carefully craft each product for your outdoor adventures, we understand that sometimes gear needs to be returned or exchanged. Here’s our straightforward policy to ensure your satisfaction.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns within 15 days of delivery for most items in their original condition (unused, with tags, and in original packaging). Some exceptions apply (see below).

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Shower and Ensuite Tents (once unpacked)
  • Used lighting appliances (for electrical safety)
  • Custom-cut tarps and poles
  • Items marked as final sale

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

Step 1: Contact Our Adventure Support

Email us at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order with:

  • Your order number
  • Item(s) you wish to return/exchange
  • Reason for return
  • Whether you prefer refund or exchange

Step 2: Wait for Approval & Instructions

Our team will respond within 2 business days with:

  • Return authorization (if approved)
  • Return shipping address
  • Special instructions if needed

Step 3: Package & Ship Your Return

Please repackage items securely in original packaging with all included accessories. Include the original packing slip or a copy of your order confirmation.

Note: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or defective product).

Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Timing: Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days after we receive your return
  • Method: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Amount: You’ll receive the item price minus any original shipping costs (unless return is due to our error)

Exchange Process

For exchanges:

  • We’ll ship your replacement item once we receive the original
  • If the exchange item costs more, you’ll be invoiced for the difference
  • If it costs less, we’ll refund the difference
  • Standard shipping rates apply for exchanges

Damaged or Defective Items

If your camping gear arrives damaged or defective:

  1. Contact us immediately at [email protected] with photos of the damage
  2. We’ll arrange for return shipping at our expense
  3. Receive a replacement or full refund

Adventure Tip

Before returning your tent or camping equipment, please ensure all components are included (poles, pegs, guy ropes). Missing parts may delay your refund or exchange.

International Returns

For our global adventurers outside the U.S.:

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Customs/duties paid on original shipment are non-refundable
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service
